Lineage, Teachers & Ways of Learning

To understand more about who I am and where I received my in depth and expansive training I share the information below from my heart.

In the traditional way there would be someone who would introduce me - even before you met me - by sharing with you who I am, what I did… both in the Anishanaabe (Chippewa, Ojibwa) and the Lakota way… as you would never hear them say I am this, I am that… like calling themselves a shaman or a medicine woman or man… they would say I am just a simple normal person like you. So I would never call myself that and since you have arrived on this page I desired to let the information introduce myself to you.

For most of my life it was a secret that was kept and not talked about that we were Native…. and I still find it interesting that I was attracted to the indigenous ways before the “secret” was out, that I had started and created an international community where people gathered to learn and do sacred ceremonies - you’ll find more below in Walking the Path - and that once we knew it lead my family to reclaiming and honoring our heritage of being members of the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

My “work” that is really something I enjoy and love doing has been shaped through decades of relationship, study, practice, and lived experience.

Over the past twenty years, I have had the privilege of learning with world renowned Indigenous elders, shamanic teachers, mystics, and healing practitioners. These teachings were received through long-term study, direct transmission, and ongoing relationship - and are carried with care, respect, and responsibility.

I share this lineage to honor the people who shaped my path, and to offer transparency to those who wish to understand the depth from which this work arises.

Indigenous Ways & Medicine Wheel Teachings

My learning within Indigenous and earth-honoring traditions has taken place through relationship, time, and responsibility.

  • Basil Braveheart, Lakota elder, Pine Ridge, South Dakota
Indigenous studies, sacred ceremonies, and teachings on rights & privileges, responsibilities, and spiritual integrity.

  • Roy Wilson (walked on), Cowlitz tribal spiritual leader, Washington State
Medicine Wheel teachings and ceremonial leadership.

  • The Council of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers
Personal learning and ceremonial experience with Grandma Agnes (walked on) and Grandma Margaret.

  • Grandma Kay Peet, Inuit elder
Shared sacred ceremony. Teachings rooted in earth relationship, presence, and ancestral wisdom.

  • Anishinaabe Elders
Guidance and teachings received through my elders, community and lived cultural connection.

These teachings were received through ceremony, listening, and years of ongoing practice, and are held respectfully with discernment and respect.

Shamanic & Mystical Lineages

My shamanic path includes extensive study and advanced training with teachers who carry these traditions with depth and integrity.

  • Leslie Conton
Introduction to core shamanic practice and foundational teachings.

  • Michael Harner (walked on) and his wife Sandra Harner,
    Foundation for Shamanic Studies
Advanced shamanism and core shamanic practices.

  • Sandra Ingerman
Advanced shamanism and teachers training, integration, transfiguration and caretaking of our Mother Earth.

  • Claude Poncelet (walked on)
Advanced shamanic studies, cosmos and shapeshifting.

  • Nicki Scully
Advanced shamanism and mythological Egyptian teachings, approaches to healing and consciousness.

  • Bhola Banstola, Nepal
Himalayan mystic shamanism, ritual practice, and ancestral healing traditions.

  • Q’ero Paqos, Peru
Mystical Andean shamanism, earth-based cosmology, and ceremonial practices rooted in reciprocity with the natural world.

These teachings deepened my understanding of shamanism as a lived, relational practice - woven into very fibers of my daily life that are just as essential and natural as breathing.

Reiki Lineage

  • William Lee Rand
International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT)
Reiki Master Certification, with training rooted in traditional Reiki practice, energetic awareness, and ethical transmission.

Reiki continues to inform my work with the subtle body, energetic flow, and gentle yet profound healing processes.

Psychic & Mediumship Training

  • Renee Madsen, Terril
Training and mentorship in psychic development and mediumship, supporting clarity, perception, and responsible intuitive practice.

This work strengthened my ability to perceive subtle patterns and unseen dynamics with care and discernment.

Sound Healing

  • Richard Rudis (walked on)
Sound healing teachings centered on vibration, frequency, and the use of sound as a tool for regulation, integration, and presence.

Sound remains an integral part of how I support grounding, coherence, and deep listening within healing and ceremonial spaces.

continuing education

Clark College, Vancouver, WA
Instructor for 6 years teaching Reiki, shamanic arts, crystals, intuition, Oracle card reading and Angels to name a few.

Integration & Lived Practice

I understand lineage as something living - something we continue to tend through practice, stewardship and honoring those who came before us and those who come after.

The teachings I’ve received aren’t replicated or performed. They are integrated, informing how I hold space, mentor women, teach, and walk not in service - OF service with other beautiful women.

And will be a lifelong “student” of this “work” it’s a path I love to walk and I always feel honored to walk with other woman on their path and witness them.

Walking the Path

For nearly a decade, I founded and stewarded Raven House Healing in Washington State - an international gathering space for “family” camps, rituals, sacred ceremony, events, retreats, healing and drumming circles, Medicine Wheel teachings, retreats, sound healing - meditations, concerts and community learning. Guided a Medicine Wheel clan integrating shamanic journeying with the teachings and traveled to teach and support other clans and communities.

Since returning to Oregon in 2015, I have continued this work through Three Mirrors Healing — Body, Mind & Spirit, weaving together the many strands of learning and lived experience gathered since beginning my journey in 2003.

This path has been wide.
It has been deep.
And it continues.
